The current church was opened in 1796, replacing a medieval church that had a tower and an aisle and that had fallen into disrepair. We don't look like a 'traditional' Norfolk church but the scale and intimacy of the building will ensure a warm welcome to our services and events. If you come as a visitor  our 'difference' will add to your Norfolk churches experience.

Thorpe market is a small rural community and the church is situated on the edge of the village.

Worship and Prayer

Services, normally of holy communion, were held monthly and a list of the services for 2025 are below. Refreshments are served after each service. The attendance averages 12. A pattern of benefice services has been established and Thorpe Market is always delighted to welcome worshippers on these occasions – these occur three or four times a year.
