"It was a wonderful day" said a member of one of the other Team Churches as he and his wife left the lunch after the Service.  Despite now being Bishop of Sherborne, Rt Rev Karen Gorham, who grew up in Christ Church, reminded us that she sees Christ Church as her "home church" and enjoys coming home.  The Service incorporated so many different elements with a video of the building and consecration of the Church being shown before and after the Service, and a short video being shown during the service of the many different ministries that take place in the Church today.  Buttsbury Primary School choir sang Christmas songs for us.  A hot lunch was served in the hall and Karen was asked to cut the cake that had been made for the occasion.
