Each Parish with a Mothers' Union Branch had been asked to hold a special service to celebrate 150 years since Mary Sumner had the vision for Mothers' Union, which has become a ministry reaching out to families across the world.  The Billericay Branch Leaders, Pauline Randall and Merrill Knight invited as our preacher, Lucy Bubb, the Faith & Engagement Manager at Mary Sumner House in Westminster.  It was a wonderful service of celebration.  The children made a special MU 150 years collage in Sunday School and this has now been placed in St Mary Magdalen Church in Billericay High Street along with other MU memorabilia and information.
