About Us

There has been a church of St Thomas of Canterbury in Brentwood since the 13th century, and we are very much at the heart of the community.

St Thomas' is an Anglo-Catholic church. We place great importance on welcoming visitors, teaching the Catholic faith in its totality, and eucharist-centred worship. The Church is open most days from 10 am to 3 pm as a place of private prayer and to visit, and one of our friendly stewards is available to help at the Welcome Desk.

We have a busy programme of events and courses open to all ages, including offering the Alpha course several times during the year. Children and young people are involved in all aspects of our life and worship, singing in the choir, serving and being involved in our AV output.

Please visit our website for more information. You are warmly welcome to come to any of our services, or to call in and see the church whenever it is open.
