Reverend Gary Fleming has been appointed as Area Dean for the Saffron Walden Deanery

Bishop Guli has announced it and Revd Gary Fleming was pleased  to be able 

to accept the position to support the Benefice, the deanery and the diocese. 

In doing so we give thanks for the previous post holder Reverend Jeremy Trew

and for all that he did for the deanery over his 5-year tenure in the post.

As Gary was commissioned at a lovely service that was be held at St Nicholas

Church Berden on 24th May by Archdeacon Kate Peacock.

We wish him every success in this role both in the Benefice and the deanery.
