Join us at St Andrew’s Althorne on 6th August and explore the wildlife of the churchyard with The Essex Wildlife Trust!

Including:
• Butterfly count
• Sweep netting
• Wild plant survey
• ‘Wildlife bingo’
• Nature hike to the Crouch River: recording and taking pictures of wildlife and plants using a hiking app and drone camera en-route
And:
• See the Architect’s plans to repair, restore and revive St Andrew’s!

This is a FREE event and suitable for all ages

Location: St Andrew’s Churchyard, Fambridge Rd, Althorne, CM3 6BZ.

There are two sessions, with the afternoon being a repeat of the morning, so please sign up for just one! Places are limited to 20 in each session. Timings:

Morning: 10.00am – 12.30pm

Afternoon: 1.30 – 4.00pm

Note: Free squash will be available and you are very welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the churchyard!
