Forest Gate: St Saviour

We are a warm, friendly and welcoming evangelical church in East London.

We are a rich multi-cultural and multi-racial congregation that is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Chelmsford.

Central to our worship and beliefs is the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to the teachings of the Bible and to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We aim to be a place where the word of God is taught and the power of the Holy Spirit is experienced.

We live stream the service from 10:30am on Sunday morning. Please join us through Facebook or YouTube (please check our website for links) for our virtual worship service. Do join us in person if you can. Thank you.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Forest Gate, St Saviour & St James is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Doreen Alexander ([email protected])
or Jenny Somers ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
