On the 15th August 2025 at 6.15 pm we will be holding a memorial service as part of the VJ day. We will also be ringing the bells in St.Mary's to commemorate the ending of the world war at exactly 6.30 pm in line with all churches around our county. Come join us to remember the fallen.

we will be doing a memorial service to commemorate VJ day around 6.15 pm and laying of wreaths in remembrance of the fallen. We will be joining the county in ringing the bells at exactly 6.30 pm to mark the end of the 2nd World War. Please come and join us.

Ride & Stride and Open Day for St. Mary's

for 2 hours

St. Mary's Moreton will be participating in the Ride & Stride in order to raise funds for the Essex Churches trust and to help with our own restoration projects. The church will be open all day for registration with an open church event from 2 pm to 4 pm including refreshments, bell-ringing and guided tours in the church. There will be Cream teas and cake, Bric-a-Brac, plants and produce, Books, and a chance to learn to ring the bells. Please come and join us to help raise money for the National churches trust and St. Mary's Moreton.
