All Saints, Great Oakley

Welcome to All Saints, Great Oakley!

All Saints is the Anglican parish church in the rural village of Great Oakley in north Essex. The Grade 1 listed building has a nave dating from the 12th Century and a wooden-topped bell chamber dating from the 18th Century.

Ours is a beautiful church where the Christian faith has been celebrated for over 800 years, and which has a strong musical tradition and a small choir.

It’s not only a picturesque and historic place in which the local community gathers, worships and prays for God’s world but a hub through which the local community is supported in good times and in bad.

Committed to the welcome and safeguarding of all, we are a community of all ages and backgrounds who worship God in a wide range of services. Our mission is to share God's love and to invite everyone to follow Jesus Christ with us.

The churchyard remains open for burials and is maintained in accordance with the diocese’s guidance on conservation and is a haven for a wide range of plants and wildlife.

Our church is open every day of the year from around 10am until about 5pm or dusk if earlier.

We look forward to welcoming you to a service soon!
