Celebrate Easter

Come and celebrate Easter at St Margaret's with special services and family events:

Friday 3rd April - 10.30am, The Story of Easter - Great for families and kids, join us as we tell the story of Easter from Jesus' entry to Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday through to his resurrection from the tomb on Easter Day. Followed by hot-cross buns, refreshments, and art activities until midday.

Saturday 4th April - 7.30pm, The Easter Vigil - The first celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus; from the Easter fire that will light our Paschal candle, through readings and prayer to the sharing of Holy Communion, this is the night that ushers in our Easter celebrations.

Sunday 5th April - 10.30am, Easter Day Eucharist - Sung service of the Eucharist celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus, with hymns, sermon and Holy Communion. Followed by refreshments in church. After the service, there will also be a kids’ Easter egg hunt.

The Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 10.30am and the Discoverers Sunday School runs concurrently in the Church Hall (except during the summer break). There will be special services for St George (7.30pm, 23rd April) and Ascension Day (7.30pm, 14th May).
