Jesus’ words ‘Do this in remembrance of me’ resonate throughout this service as we commemorate the Last Supper. We hear also of Jesus’ supreme example of service as He washed the feet of His disciples. At the end of the Eucharist we pray silently in front of the sacrament, and watch and wait with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.
