This is an informal service with refreshments served during worship. There is a theme for the day with songs, prayers and a Bible reading and/or drama to introduce some discussion.

During British Summer Time (when the clocks go forward one hour) Cafe Church will begin one hour earlier at 10am on the fourth Sunday of each month.

St Stephens, Great Wigborough

Welcome to St Stephens, a church in beautiful Essex countryside, where everyone is welcome to worship with us.

We hold free coffee mornings on the second and fourth Friday of the month when, weather permitting the tower is open affording stunning views of the countryside.

The parish of Great & Little Wigborough: St Stephen & St Nicholas is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer.
