ST ANDREWS BUILDING PROJECT

The work in St Andrew’s is going along steadily. The font is now in its new position and will make baptisms much easier without trying to cram godparents and family into the tower!

The asbestos has been removed. This has delayed us a bit but the builders expect the rest of the project to progress as planned.

At time of writing (Feb 16th) we anticipate the wiring to be fitted this week which will provide power for the new heaters. Soon the painters and decorators will arrive to spruce up the existing floorboards and the pews.

We hope to be back in church by the end of March!

We are planning an official reopening and welcome day for neighbours and friends on April 25th. We hope many will come and have a look at the work we have done but also have chance to find out about other church and community activities which take place in our church and halls.
