The Friends of St Nicholas provide essential financial support in keeping the structure of the building in a good condition, which is greatly appreciated by the Parochial Church Council of St Nicholas and the congregation of St Nicholas. The ongoing support given by the residents of Castle Hedingham to fund raising activities of The Friends is a clear indication of the value and importance of St Nicholas to the village and its history as well as its future.
