Since as far back as 1755 St Michael’s and St Mary’s have shared the same rector, but operating as separate churches. We hold as many special all inclusive services as we can think of, to encourage wider attendance. These include outdoor Lambing and Pets services in spring and summer, a farmer-supported Harvest Festival, a Christingle service at Candlemas, and a Toy service in early December, as well as the usual major festivals. The Remembrance service at Mount and the symbol-based Good Friday service at Tawney are both especially moving.
