Pattern of services in the benefice

In Thaxted our Sunday morning sung mass is at 11am, except on the first Sunday of the month on which we have a eucharistic service for all ages called Open Doors at 10am with its own style, and choir*. There is a low mass on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Lady Chapel, and Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) at 8am on the first Sunday of the month also in the Lady Chapel. A group prays the Rosary on Monday evenings in the Becket Chapel at 7.30pm and on the 3rd Tuesday at 7pm we have a Julian Meeting in the Church Hall (Margaret Street).

Radwinter -  The Eucharist, 9.30am on the 1st Sunday of the month followed by coffee and tea for those who would like to stay and chat. 

There are a range of afternoon and evening services across the benefice (BCP evensong, benediction, healing services, 'Jubilate' Benefice-wide services on the 5th Sundays)*. We keep a number of the church festivals and Saints' days throughout the year and enjoy all that the church seasons offer us for intentional worship which is a stimulating and liturgical.
