Solemn Liturgy of the Passion and Death of Our Lord with Veneration of the Cross

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Michael & All Angels
Address
Northcote Road/Palmerston Road WALTHAMSTOW, LONDON., E17 6PQ, United Kingdom

This is the most stark and solemn service of the Church's year. The Passion Gospel of John will be read, and the Cross will be venerated. Since the tabernacle on the altar is empty, and there is no consecration on Good Friday, we will receive in one kind only from the reserved Sacrament brought in procession from the Altar of Repose. All are welcome to come and remember in this solemn liturgy the full, final sacrifice made by Our Lord for our salvation.

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
