The first Mass of Christmas, celebrated in blazing light in the darkness of the streets of Walthamstow, just as the Light of the World came to the dark stable in Bethlehem. The bambino will be placed in the Christmas Crib and the Crib will be blessed with prayers and incense, and we celebrate with carols and wonderful music the solemnity of the arrival of the Christ Child on earth. On an earthly note, mulled wine and mince pies will be served at the end of Mass to make our celebrations complete.

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are no longer in interregnum at St Michael's and warmly welcome Canon Fred Ashford-Okai, our new priest in charge.  

We would like to thank all of those who have supported St Michaels during our interregnum helping us reach and grow our church community, and look forward to growing even more.
