Great Horkesley: St. John's

Together with the parish church of All Saints' Church, our smaller St John's forms part of the parish of Great Horkesley. Our small but friendly congregation alternates our Sunday services between both churches. We welcome all visitors, especially if you are trying church for the first time, or reconnecting with your faith after a break.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Great Horkesley: All Saints with St. John's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Lesley Richardson who can be contacted via the church office on 01206 243683 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor via the "Read more" button shown below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
