Prayer and worship as 2025 comes to an end and 2026 arrives
A peaceful service following the BCP and CW order of service on alternating weeks
Usually BCP on first and third Sundays, Christmas Day and Easter Day and Common Worship on all other Sundays.
Parish Communion in church with congregation and also livestreamed on YouTube at www.youtube.com/stmaryswoodford. Children's groups run at 10am during term time (please contact us or come at 10am for details) and youth group runs fortnightly 6.30-8pm Sundays. Prayer ministry is available during Communion and after the service.
Every 4-6 weeks this service is All Together with a more informal style and children and young people leading the reflection, prayers and readings etc.
A peaceful evening service.The first Sunday of the month is usually a service in the style of Taize, second and fifth Sundays are usually said Evening Prayer, third Sunday is usually Choral Evensong and the fourth Sunday is usually Prayers for Wholeness and Healing. Occasionally the evening service is held at another church (second Sunday of Advent, third Sunday in January). Please see our website for the latest information.
No evening service 28 Dec. Returns 4 Jan.
Our weekly Holy Communion service with short reflection followed by refreshments. Occasionally this will be Morning Prayer instead of Communion, sometimes at short notice.
