About Us

Our historic Church building has dominated the landscape of this part of South Leicestershire for over 800 years. It is renowned for its former Rector, John Wycliffe, who first translated the Bible into English in the 14th Century and, through him, became a centre of mission.

Today, the church is at the centre of this market town, providing community activities, a programme of youth and children's activities, concerts, Mothers' Union, Bell ringing, needlecraft group, prayer and home groups, and much more!

We’d love you to join us this Sunday or at any of our events. Whether you’re young or old, new to faith or a lifelong Christian, you’ll receive a warm welcome here.

Our Sunday at 11am service is open to everyone and is a great place to start if you’re exploring the Christian faith or thinking about coming to church for the first time.

We’re a church family that includes people of all ages. Families with young children are very welcome, and it’s also normal to see teenagers and young people as part of our church community.

If you’re curious about faith, looking for a church, or simply want to come along and see what it’s like, you would be very welcome to join us.
