Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week, remembering Jesus' entry into Jerusalem riding on a donkey. He was surrounded by crowds with palm branches. The palm branch is an ancient symbol of joy and victory.
We mirror Jesus' journey by starting this service in Jubilee Square before walking back to the Cathedral building, including a version of the Passion Gospel - telling the events leading up to Jesus' death.
