We are a friendly, welcoming church located in a scenic area of the country with services on Sunday mornings at 9:30, followed by coffee and biscuits and a time to chat.
Level access to the churchyard is from the side road and a ramp kept by the church porch for access to the building.
We will be open during the day (approx. 10am-5pm) Wednesday to Saturday until the end of September, so feel free to drop in and have a look around.
Our parish of St Oswald's Thornton in Lonsdale is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
