Holy Trinity, Coalbrookdale

Holy Trinity is a parish church for the community of Coalbrookdale, in the Telford Severn Gorge.  Come and see the history of the church and the internal architecture relating back to Abraham Darby IV (whose grave is situated in the back churchyard) and browse through the detailed signage produced by the Museum of Iron.    We have recently undergone refurbishment with the change over from an oil boiler to under pew heating.

View the chancel ceiling in gold leaf, the individual pew carvings, the pulpit and, as you look up, you'll see heads of the Bishop and Queen (at that time) and others carved by the stone mason - there is so much to view in this historic church.  Come and see more.

HOWEVER - WE HAVE REMOVED THE ORGAN PIPES AS WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE ON THE FRAME OF THE ORGAN WHICH HOUSES THESE PIPES.  FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE BELOW.   HOLY TRINITY IS OPEN DAILY (WEATHER PERMITTING) - ALTHOUGH WE CAN'T GUARANTEE THIS DURING THE WINTER MONTHS.

You can be sure of a warm welcome should you wish to come to any of our services.   Please view our website:  -  coalironlitt.co.uk for information on the 'Services' page and click 'Service Diary'; or just browse through the many pages and discover more about Holy Trinity, St. Lawrence and St. Luke's churches in our United Benefice.
