This Grade II listed church was commissioned by Louisa Frankland Russell (who lived at the near by Blubberhouses Hall), as a chapel of ease to St Michael and St Lawrence's Church, Fewston. It was designed by Edward Buckton Lamb in the Early English style, and was completed in 1851. Come and join in our Nativity Story with carols, readings and Molly the donkey.

Children, please come as an angel, shepherd, king, Mary or Joseph or one of the animals in the stable that first Christmas. Or join in without dressing up. Parents & Friends, please bring children to the Washburn Heritage Centre at 1.30 pm if you wish to use our costumes.

Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Washburn Heritage Centre.
