St Augustine's local library has played an important role in the local community for over 25 years. When the church was reconstructed the innovative glass wall design, the retention of original stone features and the incorporation of a public library were all features of the design aimed at making the church building open and inviting to the community. Why not pay us a visit! When the Council decided to close some of the libraries due to cost-cutting, St Augustine's was one of them. However, we managed to get some volunteers to open up. When the pandemic arrived we had to close the library. Bradford Libraries has undergone restructuring and we are now working with them towards reopening the library.
