You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!

Welcome to Christchurch Lothersdale. Our beautiful listed church is a delight to worship in. We love to welcome new people and would be delighted if you would join us to celebrate our faith in Jesus. We have a friendly breakfast worship in a bible study style at 10.00 on 1st Sundays called 'Chatty Church', sometimes there is an informal Holy Communion at this service. On 2nd Sundays at 10.45 we have traditional common worship Holy Communion with hymns, and refreshments afterwards. On 3rd Sundays we have a 9.00 Refresh services with craft activities. All ages are welcome and we start with breakfast and then join in the craft activity - whatever age we are!!

Bring the whole family, dress up as a Christmas Character and join in the fun as we retell the Nativity story and invite the children to join in our scratch play ending with a tableau and the sound of children's voices singing Away in a Manger. Hectic, carols filled and great fun!

11.30pm start to the first Holy Communion service of Christmas. We bless the sacrament and receive just after midnight. All are welcome to join us. We sing traditional carols and welcome the new born King.
