Come and Sing Day
Keighley Road
Skipton
Come and Sing some of the wonderful Choral Classics from the sacred and secular repertoire and offer suggestions as to what you might like to sing!
Tim Knight will lead you through the music in his own relaxed and imitable style in this lovely Church set in the Yorkshire market town of Skipton. The Church is just a short walk from the bus and train stations and the town boasts a wide variety of local and chain stores to have a browse around, so why not make a weekend of it!
Each attendee on the day will receive a £5.00 voucher which can be redeemed against future sing days, holidays, or other TKM products. If you already hold a voucher from a previous sing day, then you can redeem it at checkout using the code on the voucher.
Please email us at [email protected] with any suggestions for repertoire for the day - please bear in mind that these are pieces that need to be learned in a day by a wide variety of abilities.
All music will be provided on the day. There is no particular need for singers to see the music in advance but here is a list of the pieces we will be bringing (plus there may be a few surprises!) if you should wish to have a listen to them prior to the day:
Faure - Cantique de Jean Racine
Bach - Jesu Joy of mans desiring
Mendelssohn - All Things all men Praise the Lord
Daley - Set me as a seal
Handel - Since by man came death
Other pieces by Telemann, Haydn and maybe a little 'Knight' music
If you wish to pay 'offline' please contact us directly at [email protected] and we will apply the discount manually.
