St Mary

This is the ancient Parish Church of Handsworth, previously in Staffordshire and now in Birmingham.  It is a vibrant and mixed community of Christians trying to follow Jesus and to support one another.

The Church houses the tombs and memorials of many significant people in history.  Most notable, James Watt, Matthew Boulton and William Murdoch - great innovators during the Industrial Revolution - are buried in the Church and have their memorials there.
