Praise 3 is our monthly Praise Service, with our own band of guitars, drums and keyboard. This service is suitable for all ages and is designed to include activities suitable for young children, as well as engagement with older young people and adults. An enthusiastic and welcoming congregation of about 40 of us looks forward to welcoming you.

Sunday

Parish Communion

Every First, Third, Fourth, Fifth Sunday at 10 a.m. for 1hr 15m

Highfield Road
Hall Green
Birmingham

This beautiful, accessible Communion Service, continuing the long tradition of the Sung Eucharist, which goes back to the Early Church, is supported by our four part choir. It is the focal point for about 80-90 of us, of all ages, as we gather to bring ourselves to receive the free grace of God in Communion at the altar and to be given strength to live out the love of Christ in our daily lives. The service is printed out in full for easy reading. A Junior Church meets for Primary age children most weeks, and once a month (4th Sunday) Senior Church gives our Secondary age children an opportunity to explore a lesson independently, with guidance..

Sunday

Evening Service

Every Sunday at 6 p.m.

Highfield Road
Hall Green
Birmingham

Our Evening Service varies according to the weeks of the month. On the First Sunday of each month we normally have a service of Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer (Said, with sung responses and unaccompanied hymns). On the Second Sunday we celebrate a service of Holy Communion with hymns. On the Third Sunday we have our Praise 3 Service (see the other notification). On the Last Sunday we have, until June 2018, and from October 2018, 'Bread for the World' or Bread Church as it is affectionately known! This is a chance to make bread, eat it, and pray about it on a theme each month. Because bread takes a time to prepare we start at 4.00pm and expect to finish at 7.00pm. If there are five Sundays, the fourth Sunday is usually 'Faith and Flapjacks' - discussion on a topical subject from a Christian perspective over tea and cake, and with short prayers to finish.
