A service of Holy Communion in one kind only.

Crafternoon
New to Immanuel, all crafters and none crafters welcome.
Every Wednesday 11am until 1pm during term time.
Bring your on-going craft projects or try new ones.
Meet new friends. Refreshments available

This a small, friendly group of people who meet to enjoy a chat over a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake.

We hope the group will appeal to people living with dementia and their carers and also to anyone who would welcome a bit of company during the week.

Short Service of Relection

Come and get Messy with craft, stories, and tea for all the family. Children, please bring an adult.

The Stations of the Cross have formed part of Christian devotion at Passiontide for many centuries because they enable us to engage actively with the path of suffering walked by Jesus. They originated when early Christians visited Jerusalem and wanted to follow literally in the footsteps of Jesus, tracing the path from Pilate’s house to Calvary. They would pause for prayer and devotion at various points. Eventually, those pilgrims brought the practice back to their home countries and ever since then Christians of differing traditions have used this form of devotion.
