The Rt. Revd David Urquhart is stepping down as Bishop of Birmingham on 18th October 2022. Having reached the retirement age of 70 and after 16 fulfilling years in the diocese, he is preparing for new adventures in life and ministry.
Thank you to everyone who kindly donated cakes for the Christian Aid cake stall and for everyone who supported, we raised £145.
Jubilee Celebration Bring & Share Lunch in the Vicarage Garden after the service NEXT Sunday 5th June. There is a list of buffet food we would like to be prepared and shared if you can bring any of the items listed on the notice board please sign up and take your slip as a reminder.
Regular Giving, following my letter dated 15th May you would have now received? Please may I remind you to complete the tear off slip and return to either the Vicarage or Mandy Riding (Giving Officer) as soon as possible.
Sunday June 19th 3-5pm we will be holding our annual Summer Fair, if you would like to have a stall or know anyone who would like one they will be £10 each. Please see Odilla to book.
We are also looking for some helpers to run the event, please see signup sheet on the centre notice board.
We would be grateful for your donations of some raffle prizes for the draw and also for any teddies for the teddy tombola.
Readers, Intercessors & CC Club members if you have any holiday dates over the coming months, please could you make these known to our Churchwardens, aiding them to complete the rotas efficiently.
Please continue to support The Yardley Wood Food Pantry, as the cost of living rises more people will be turning to food pantries for more assistance. Please could you think about bringing an item of non-perishable food or some toiletries on a regular basis to help people in our community.
