A said service of Holy Communion with reflection.
Occasionally this service is replaced by Morning Prayer, said at 10am.
We will be marking the Wave of Light on Wednesday 15th October. Church will be open between 6.30pm and 7.3pm, and you will be able to light a candle, with the name of a little one who you remember. Stay for as long or as little as you like.

For Remembrance Sunday this year, we are inviting local people and groups to contribute to a display of poppy artwork. This is your chance to take part - pop in to the Dorothy Parkes Centre on Saturday 1st November between 10am and 12noon to make a poppy for the display.
You can come and see the poppies on Saturday 8th November (10am-4pm) and Sunday 9th November (10am-1pm, including a Remembrance Day service at 10.15am).

Come along to Old Church to view an amazing display of poppy art and craft, created by our community! On Saturday 8th November (10am-4pm) and Sunday 9th November (10am-1pm, including a Remembrance Day service at 10.15am), you are invited to come and see the wonderful creations made by our community.
Meeting monthly after the morning service (12.15pm) and in church, this friendly group explores the day's gospel reading. We are a mixture of English and Farsi speakers, and can usually offer translation for those who would welcome that. All are welcome - we would love to meet you and explore the Bible together.
A short, reflective and peaceful service to acknowledge the more difficult emotions of this time of year.
Bring your sadness, anger, fear or grief, knowing that God welcomes us, as we are.
