A group exploring the Bible together. Come as you are, bringing questions and wonderings as we explore a passage or theme together.

From October 2026 onwards, we will be exploring ways of reading the Bible using Miranda Threlfall-Holmes's book "How to Eat Bread". You do not need the book, everything will be provided.

Old Church Smethwick

Smethwick Old Church is both an historic building and a family of Christians. Built in 1732 using money left by Dorothy Parkes, our Grade II* listed parish church is the oldest building in Smethwick - closely followed by The Old Chapel pub next door! We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to share in worship, growing faith and work with our local community.

We'd love to welcome you to any of our regular and special services, and you can find details of these on this page. For enquiries about baptisms, weddings or funerals please contact our Vicar, Revd Sara Moore via [email protected] or 07473 385789.
