Every fifth Sunday we do things a little differently. We gather informally around tables, enjoy food and drink together, and have a time of creative worship. This fifth Sunday we will be journeying with Jesus to Jerusalem and crying Hosanna! God saves.

We bring our Draw Near journey to a close, as we gather to reflect on the habits of healthy discipleship we have been discussing during Lent, and explore the Stations of the Cross together. All are welcome, whether you have been using the "Draw Near" resources or not.

We continue our Holy Week journey to the cross and empty tomb with a quiet, contemplative service of Holy Communion, during which we symbolically wash feet, remember the Last Supper at Holy Communion, then strip the church of all its colour as we remember Jesus arrested, abandoned by his friends and put on trial.

Erdington Churches Together meet at Oikos cafe on Erdington High Street to sing Easter hymns, read from scripture and walk up the High Street to St Barnabas, as we bear witness to all that Jesus did by going to the cross for us. At St Barnabas, we will hold a short outdoor service (weather permitting!) followed by refreshments.

A service of Bible readings, music and quiet contemplation as we gather together to remember Jesus' death, for the last hour of the cross.

A joyful celebration of Easter, with Holy Communion, singing and an opportunity to re-affirm the vows made at our baptism.

On the 2nd Sunday of the month, when there is no Communion at our main service, we try to hold an early Communion service as often as we can. It will be quiet and contemplative, with a short talk and no hymns. All are welcome.
