A service following the Common Worship order for Morning Prayer with a short reflection. All welcome.

Join us for tea, toast and conversation in the hall each Wednesday morning 9.30am-11.30am. You’ll be made most welcome and if you want to feed your soul as well, join us in church beforehand at 9am for Morning Prayer. Prayer, tea and toast our favourite midweek combo -what’s not to like?

A reflective service as we follow Jesus in his final footsteps to the cross. This is a seated service, ideal for anyone who would find walking round the church unmanageable.

We celebrate Jesus’ institution of the Eucharist with Communion, Agape Meal and foot washing. This service is followed by the Stripping of the Altar and optional Watch of the Passion until 10pm.

Church is open at 1pm for private prayer followed at 2pm by meditations on the cross.
Join us afterwards for tea and hot cross buns in the hall.

We light the paschal candle in the vigil fire as we remember the Light of Christ dawning on Easter morning; followed by first Eucharist of Easter… join us afterwards in the hall for a cooked breakfast.

We celebrate Holy Communion at either 10am or 11.30am each Sunday morning (except for the third Sunday each month). Our Sunday School meets most weeks, gathering firstly in church before departing to learn together in the church hall. Their return is always joyful as we look forward to hearing all about how they have used their time.

First Sunday of the month: 10.00am: Holy Communion

Second Sunday of the month: 11.30am: Holy Communion

Fourth Sunday of the month: 11.30am: Holy Communion

Fifth Sunday of the month:
11.30am: One Joint Service (usually Holy Communion) alternating between churches, held either here at St Barnabas or at our sister church of All Saints, Shard End.

A peaceful, intimate service which includes Healing Prayer on the first Tuesday of each month.

A Praise Service which includes hymns, Bible readings (followed by a spoken reflection) and prayers. Please join us for free tea, coffee and biscuits served afterwards in church. All welcome.
