Commemoration of the Faithful Departed (All Souls)
Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving
in loving memory of those who have died
In this service we remember before God our loved ones who have died. Please pass to the Rector names to be read out during the prayers for the St Giles service. In addition, we will remember all those for whom a service was held because they died in the last year. There will be an opportunity to bring forward a candle for those we remember.

St Giles, Packwood

Welcome to the beautiful medieval church of St. Giles Packwood. There has been a church on this site for over 800 years, and prayer and worship continues to be offered faithfully Sunday by Sunday. You can discover more about the fascinating history of St. Giles Church here.

St. Giles offers traditional worship with a choice of a said Holy Communion (Common Worship Order One in traditional language), Sung Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) with hymns and psalms, and Matins (Book of Common Prayer) with hymns and psalms.

So whether you prefer a simple spoken service or enjoy singing with a choir; whether you are looking for a service of Holy Communion or Morning Prayer, there is something for everyone, and everyone is welcome.
