Our monthly, intergenerational service with a special focus on children and families has a Nativity Theme. Relive the nativity story with an opportunity for children to dress up and participate. There will be cakes and drinks provided for a very special Sunday morning service.

A Christmas "Service of Light" symbolising Jesus as the "Light of the World" entering darkness. The service will feature carols, hymns, readings, and the symbolic lighting of candles, culminating with the entire congregation holding lights to represent spreading Christ's hope, peace, and joy.

Our popular Christmas carol service featuring traditional carols and Bible readings retelling the Nativity story. Stay around and mingle afterwards with mince pies and mulled wine being served.

Our Christingle service is a joyful, symbolic Christian celebration in Advent. A decorated orange (Christingle) is used to represent God's love at Christmas, with a candle as Jesus (the light of the world) bringing hope. The service involves carols, readings, and the symbolic lighting of the Christingles, creating a powerful visual of light in darkness for families and communities, emphasising hope and Jesus as the world's light.

The Midnight Service at St. Michael's is a traditional Christian service held late on Christmas Eve, to mark the first official celebration of Christmas Day and the birth of Jesus Christ. The service is a joyful, candlelit, celebration filled with music and a sense of expectation and wonder as it symbolically brings light into the darkness of the night.

Our Christmas Day service is centered on celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the mystery of God becoming human. There will be carols, scripture readings, and prayers - the service is an intergenerational service for people of all ages. Families and children are welcome. Please, join us irrespective of whether you are a regular member of our congregation, or simply wish to attend for a one-off prayerful celebration and opportunity for thanksgiving.

Come an bring in the New Year with our first St. Michael's movie night. The movie will have a festive theme, and suitable for anyone age 12 and above. Everyone is welcome, and feel free to bring your friends, snacks, and drinks. Dress warm to stay toastie, and hot chocolate and popcorn will be provided for all the children attending. Adults too if we have leftovers! No need to book, just turn up and enjoy the film.
