September is often a month for returning. Students and school and college staff go back or start school or university, people go back to work after a summer break and the church tends to step up a gear after a quieter month...
Dear Friends, I hope that you are all keeping safe as we move into a new month, a time that has always been for holidays and breaks from some of the normal routines.
I am writing this during a night when the country is being battered by storm Ciara and the winds are certainly chasing around the church I am spending the night in. It is a real privilege to serve in the night shelter tonight.
