A choral holy communion service using a service from Common Worship (2000).

We will gather to seek God in the absence of words and speech, bringing our needs and desires and leaving them at the foot of the cross. Silent intercessory prayers will be woven into the service, where the Minister will pray for the requests in the prayer basket. Anyone is welcome to accompany the Minister in prayer if they so wish; there will be no requirement to do so.

The primary purpose of this service will be to bring our whole selves to God, paying particular attention to parts in our lives that we find difficult to articulate, and asking God to hold it all. Contemplative worship is about setting apart a time and space to remind ourselves of the unconditional and unlimited love with which we are loved, so we can see ourselves as God sees us.

All Saints Foodbank
The Food Bank is open on Mondays and Fridays from 11.00 am till 12.00 noon. We are opposite All Saints Church, just off the Market Square.
We are happy to provide one parcel per household per week. Parcels typically contain basic tinned/dried food including UHT milk plus frozen bread. We can also provide a small selection of toiletries on request.

Held every Wednesday morning during term-time, Stay and Play is a group for parents/carers of babies and pre-school children aged 0-5 years. It offers families the chance to meet in a relaxed, supportive and safe environment, and enjoy creative fun with their children.

Everything you wanted to know about death, but were afraid to ask.

It has been suggested that once we reach the age of 60, our every third thought is of death and yet we rarely talk about it or prepare for it. Join us on a Wednesday afternoon during March for a cup of tea and piece of cake. Over the course of four weeks, we will explore some of the issues that arise and have the opportunity to listen to and talk with experts about different aspects of death and bereavement.

A service for Maundy Thursday using a rite from the Iona Community with mezze style refreshments.

A service to explore the Stations of the Cross by Sieger Koder. Join us after the service for a hot cross bun and a coffee. We will finish in time for those wishing to join the CTED walk of witness at 11.00 am.

Revd Dr Prajna Pal-Lad will lead us in a special Contemplative Worship for Holy Saturday, making use of a prayer labyrinth.

We will meet at the Abbey Archway on the grounds of the old abbey for a service to welcome the risen Lord on Easter Day. Join us afterwards in Church House for breakast.

For children aged 4-11, crafts and activities exploring the story of Easter. We will join in with the Communion service before its conclusion at 11am.
