Following concerns about possible vandalism, a 'place of safety order' was granted for the font, lectern and communion table from St Christopher's to be moved into use at The Good Shepherd. This was enacted after the final communion service and was commissioned for use at TGS on Sunday, 4th May. Although moved with a sense of sadness from St Christopher's, it has been received with joy and will be loved and used to the glory of God, the purpose for which it was made.
