Public tickets for our services of Nine Lessons and Carols are now fully booked. We are always delighted that so many of you want to worship together with us at Christmas, and we wish there was a way to fit everyone in! If you were unable to secure a ticket, you might like to join us instead on the 16th December for Five Lessons and Carols sung by the Cathedral Choir and hosted by the Friends of Christ Church Cathedral, or for one of the brilliant carol concerts or other special services taking place here this Christmas. Join us at Christ Church Cathedral this Christmas for a traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols.

We will be holding four services this year on the following dates:

Sunday 21st December, 6.05 pm: Sung by Frideswide Voices and the Clerks of the Cathedral Choir
Monday 22nd December, 6.05 pm: Sung by Frideswide Voices and the Clerks of the Cathedral Choir (also broadcast live on the Cathedral YouTube Channel)
Tuesday 23rd December, 6.05 pm: Sung by the Cathedral Choir
Wednesday 24th December, 3.05 pm: Sung by the Cathedral Choir (also broadcast live on the Cathedral YouTube channel)

From our roots as the Saxon religious community of St Frideswide established 1300 years ago, to the unique single foundation of Anglican cathedral and Oxford University College we are today, our story has been centuries in the making.
