St Matthew's Oxhey is a friendly church where you will find a warm welcome regardless of age, ability, colour, creed or sexual orientation. Our church is open for public worship, normally a sung Eucharist service, on Sunday mornings at 10.00am. Our Vicar, Fr Sam Frampton, is always open to receiving new people in our congregation and children are always welcome.
If you want to contact us to arrange a Baptism or Marriage please use the 'Get in Touch' email and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
We have a hearing loop and large print copies of our services and hymn books available and there is a sloped access from the car park for those who have difficulty with steps. Please feel free to ask if you need any help or have any questions.
The parish of Oxhey: St Matthew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
