A short service: a bit of space for worship and contemplation in the middle of a busy week

Coffee, tea, juice and cakes for sale as well as second hand books, cards and items from the Kwa Mkono and Fairtrade stalls.
All are welcome, whether you have ever been inside Christ Church or not. Come in for a rest or a chat.
Any profits will be used to boost church funds.

This will take place every week unless a Holy Communion service has been publicised. The service includes Bible readings, a talk about the readings seeking to apply them to our everyday lives, hymns/worship songs, prayers and aims to be accessible to people of all ages.

Followed by the Fairtrade stall. This will take place every week unless a Joint Service is taking place on the 5th Sunday of the month. Everyone is welcome at this service which includes groups for younger children (aka Sunday school or activity sheets) meeting in the coffee area at the back of church. The worship includes hymns, Bible readings, prayers and a talk which aims to apply the content of the Bible readings to everyday life. A five Sunday month is an opportunity to bring the congregations of Christ church and St Mark's together in one place. It's nearly always a Service of the Word, with or without Communion, and everyone is welcome whether you're a regular or new to the church.
