Easter Dawn Service with Eucharist

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Nicholas, Harpenden
Address
Church Green (right in the town centre) Harpenden, AL5 2TP, United Kingdom

On Easter Morning there will be a ‘Dawn Service’ at 6 am where
we will kindle the Easter Fire, light the Paschal Candle and greet the Risen Christ in a
simple celebration of the Eucharist. It was at dawn that the disciples first found the empty
tomb, and the stillness and beauty of the early morning is a very special time to do this. After
the service there will be breakfast

St Nicholas, Harpenden

St Nicholas Church is at the heart of the town...in every sense.  Shaped by the love and call of Jesus Christ, we seek to give a warm and inclusive welcome to all, to encourage rooted belonging in a living tradition, to grow a lively and curious Christian faith and to offer hopeful and compassionate service.

All are welcome to all our services, where we hope you will find a spiritual home and discover the peace, joy and strength that come from knowing God.
