St John's Church has achieved the EcoChurch Bronze Award. This shows our commitment to playing our part in reducing climate change.

The award covers 5 areas:

 Worship - where we include caring for God's Creation

Buildings - the use of Air Source Heat Pumps for heating reduce carbon emissions by the Church

Nature - we try to manage our churchyard in an environmentally responsible way

Lifestyle - we educate our congregation about climate change and the benefits of reducing carbon emissions

Community - we promote the aims of EcoChurch in the wider community
