We will meet monthly for an hour on a Sunday afternoon in one of our three churches between 5pm and 6pm. Our first meeting is in Whipsnade church and the first book will be; The Meaning in the Miracles by Jeffrey John. The publisher is Canterbury press and it is available on Amazon. The group meets in the church for company, refreshments and shared crafts every four weeks on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm - 4pm. Choose your project, bring it along, and one of the our many Knitters will be there to help you along your journey to achieve amazing results. Macmillan coffee morning

Whipsnade village lunch is run by volunteers, who very generously donate the profit made to our church . It is run in a new format and is hopefully more sustainable for the volunteers and is held every 4 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon at Whipsnade village hall from 12.30pm. They offer a light hot lunch, cakes, tea and coffee for £6.00. There is also a raffle. Our next village lunch is on Wednesday 3rd September.

Churchyard working party

We meet once a month on a Saturday morning 9am - 12pm, to take care of our beautiful churchyard. We will be taking a break for August and be back on September 27th ready to tidy the Churchyard for Autumn and get ready for the leaf raking season! All are welcome to join our team and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Refreshments will be provided.

Harvest festival

Our annual Harvest festival will be held on Sunday 5th October at 9am. This is a family friendly service, with the church filled with flowers and foodstuff. We will be delivering gifts of flowers, biscuits and goodies to local people and the rest will go to Dunstable foodbank. The proceeds of the service will go to the Bishops's Harvest appeal, which is supporting Mission Direct's work to increase access to education in the world's most under-resourced communities.
