Whipsnade village lunch is run by volunteers, who very generously donate the profit made to our church . It is run in a new format and is hopefully more sustainable for the volunteers and is held every 4 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon at Whipsnade village hall from 12.30pm. They offer a light hot lunch, cakes, tea and coffee for £7.00. There is also a raffle. The team are taking a break in January and will be back on February 25th.

St Mary Magdalene

It would be a joy to welcome you to our beautiful church and grounds. Our church of St Mary Magdalene is in the small country village of Whipsnade and stands back from the green often unnoticed by visitors to the famous zoo. It is a landmark in the village and the surrounding countryside and stands some 700 feet above sea level. There has been a church here since Anglo Saxon times; the present building was started in the 16th century.

We have a service every Sunday at 9am and welcome visitors along with our regular congregation and dogs are also welcomed.

We always serve coffee after the service and its a friendly social atmosphere.
