Remembering Service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Mary's
Address
Oakley, MK43 7RU, United Kingdom

On Sun 19th October at 3pm we will be holding our Remembering Service in St Mary's. Grieving is a long and ongoing process, and many find that a quiet reflective service like this can be very helpful. It is a time to remember and give thanks for our loved ones, and to remind ourselves of the Christian belief that there is life beyond this one. The names of the deceased will be read out, and during the service there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of loved ones. Afterwards you are warmly invited to stay for refreshments. If you would like a loved one’s name read out please contact Sarah, our administrator on [email protected]

We have a wealth of services and events across the Benefice so please do explore these pages, visit our website or follow us on Social Media to keep up to date.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Oakley is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
