We believe in our community, and we want to see it flourish. So we are transforming our hall and gardens to be used by all the community.

Our activities fall into three main areas:

Making Peace

Building friendships in our local communitiyEnjoying nature and the beauty of plants, trees and wildlife in our gardens and local areaPromoting diversity and the joy of sharing our cultures and talents together

Growing Together

Community gardening activities to grow food and flowersArts and creativity which promote local talent and highlight issues people are passionate aboutPromoting wellbeing through outdoor activities, exercise classes and more

Transforming Our Community

Addressing health inequality through opening up access to healthcare and highlighting barriersCaring for our environment through making our community safe, beautiful, biodiverse and eco-friendlySupporting the leaders of tomorrow through investing in local leaders with expertise on local issues

Our project was launched on St Brigid’s Day, the 1st of February 2024 with the planting of our small orchard of local fruit trees. The event was well attended by a diverse range of residents and community leaders, with a blessing being given by +Richard, Bishop of Bedford. He also blessed our existing peace garden built by members of the congregation, and our brand new St Brigid’s Forge where we will transform amnestied knives into garden tools. Below is a gallery of pictures from the day.
